​Aventuras is excited to offer in-person Spanish Immersion* (bilingual for beginners) Summer Camps in San Francisco in June, July and August. No Spanish language experience or knowledge is required, beginners are welcome!

Just like our After School Program, our "Verano de Aventuras" is based on Experiential Learning and offers -each week- a combination of fun and interactive activities in the areas of visual arts, STEM, music & movement, mindfulness, and culture & community.

* We are an inclusive program, and do our best to accommodate a diverse range of proficiency levels --from very beginner to fluent speakers, and provide an experience in which kids are exposed to native Spanish-speaking teachers who will motivate campers to learn and practice the Spanish language, and a curriculum that highlights the culture that comes with it, but we do not focus on teaching Spanish in a traditional way, and can't guarantee a 100% Spanish Immersion experience.

Regular day hours: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Extended Care hours: Early Care: 8:30 - 9:30 am / After Care: 4:30 - 5:30 pm (for an additional fee).

Cost for 2026:

 **EARLY BIRD Regular Day Summer Camp  - $550 per 1-week session. Ends on March 27th, 2026** 

Regular Day Summer Camp week - $620 for each 1-week session (after March 27th)

Extended Care:  Early Care is an additional $75 per child, per week / After Care is an additional $100 per child, per week.

Need Financial Aid? We are able to offer a few scholarships for families who can't afford the full weekly cost amount. Please contact us to inquire about scholarships and financial aid.

Since we are fortunate to have indoor and outdoor spaces at both locations, we are able to offer a combination of indoor and outdoor activities.

​

Field trips: we will also have one field trip per week, on Wednesdays, to a local park/large open space, such as Glen Park Canyon, Stern Grove, Ocean Beach, Golden Gate Park, and McLaren Park, for hiking, nature explorations and lots of games. On field trip days children need to be dropped off and picked up at those locations, as we are not able to offer transportation to/from our locations to/from the field trip location*.

*Specific dates and locations for field trip days will be shared a week before the beginning of your booked session.

This is our sample schedule for a regular camp day:

​

8:30 - 9:30 am - early care, supervised free time (for an additional fee)

9:30 - 10 am - arrival at our location, supervised free time

10:00 - 10:30 am - community and mindfulness circle, and introduction to the daily activities

10:30 - 10:50 am - morning snack (please send a healthy morning snack)

10:50 am - 12:20 pm - morning Experiential Learning activities

12:20 - 2:00 pm - lunch at the patio, supervised outdoor free playtime and guided games

2:00 - 3:15 - afternoon Experiential Learning activities

3:15 - 3:30 - afternoon snack (we will provide a healthy afternoon snack)

3:30 - 4:00 pm - supervised free playtime and guided games (indoor/outdoor)

4:15 - 4:30 pm - regular day pick-up

4:30 - 5:30 pm - after care, supervised free time (for an additional fee)

Cancellation Policy

• No change/modification fees. Family can change to another available session and pay only the difference in session price, if any.

• In the event the session needs to be cancelled due to health advisories, or other emergency reasons outside of our control, you will receive full credit for a future session/program.

• Cancellations: a full refund minus a $150 cancellation fee if cancellation is received no later than 4 weeks before the start of the session. You can cancel the session up to two weeks before the session starts and receive full credit to re-book for any future session/program.

• All credits must be used by June 1st, 2027 and can be used for another family member.

• The minimum age we accept registrations for is 4 years and 9 months old. If you booked a session without regard to our minimum age requirement, you will receive a notification by email, and the cancellation policy above applies (a full refund minus a $150 cancellation fee if cancellation is received no later than 4 weeks before the start of the session. You can cancel the session up to two weeks before the session starts and receive full credit to re-book for any future session/program).
