Summer Camp at Aventuras
A bilingual, experiential summer camp in San Francisco! This summer, your child can spend their days making, exploring, and getting beautifully messy in a space where they feel known, cared for, and free to be exactly who they are.
At Aventuras, children build meaningful projects, move their bodies, and express themselves through art using recycled and natural materials. Spanish is experienced naturally throughout the day, heard in instructions, conversations, and transitions. Our teachers are experienced international educators who guide with attention and intention.
No prior Spanish is required. Children participate from wherever they are and grow steadily over time. Away from screens, we maintain small groups so each child is seen, supported, and genuinely part of a community.

The Daily Experience
Our program combines experiential learning with emotional care.
Spanish is part of the environment. It is heard in instructions, conversations, transitions, and collaborative projects. Some children arrive fluent. Others are just beginning. All participate meaningfully.
Projects are sensory, hands-on and purposeful. Children create art, build, experiment - Away from screens, connected to materials, to nature, and to each other. We use recycled and natural supplies because how we create matters as much as what we create.
Activities integrate culture, creativity, movement and critical thinking. Movement and regulation are built into the day. Children have time to focus, time to play, and time to connect.
Weekly Field Trips
Each week includes one field trip, typically on Wednesdays, to local parks and large open spaces such as Glen Park Canyon, Stern Grove, Ocean Beach, Golden Gate Park, and McLaren Park.
Field trips focus on hiking, nature exploration, and collaborative games.
Children are dropped off and picked up directly at the field trip location on those days as we currently don’t offer transportation to/from our locations to/from the field trip location. Specific dates and locations are shared one week before your booked session begins.

Cancellation Policy
Please review carefully before completing registration.

No change/modification fees for the first change/modification. Family can change to another available session once and pay only the difference in session price, if any. For subsequent changes, a 5% administrative fee per change will be charged.

In the event the session needs to be cancelled due to health advisories, or other emergency reasons outside of our control, you will receive full credit for a future session/program.

Cancellations: a full refund minus a $150 cancellation fee per week cancelled if cancellation is received no later than 30 calendar days before the start of the session. You can cancel the session up to 14 calendar days before the session starts and receive full credit to re-book for any future session/program.

All credits must be used by June 1st, 2027 and can be used for another family member.

The minimum age we accept registrations for is 4 years and 9 months old. If you booked a session without regard to our minimum age requirement, you will receive a notification by email, and the cancellation policy above applies (a full refund minus a $150 cancellation fee if cancellation is received no later than 4 weeks before the start of the session. You can cancel the session up to two weeks before the session starts and receive full credit to re-book for any future session/program).
